Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
Marinade
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 4-6 limes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 clove garlic minced
Vegetables
  • 1 cucumber cucumber sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
Garnish
  • 1 avocado avocado sliced
  • 1 lime lime cut into wedges

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the raw shrimp to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Prepare the Vegetables
  1. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, and cilantro. Combine them in a serving dish.
Combine and Serve
  1. Once the shrimp is ready, add it to the vegetable mixture. Toss gently to combine. Garnish with avocado slices and lime wedges before serving.
