Ingredients
  

Chili
  • 1 lb Ground Beef You can substitute with turkey or plant-based meat.
  • 1 can Kidney Beans Drained and rinsed.
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes With green chilies for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 hot dogs Hot Dogs Any variety you prefer.
  • 4 buns Hot Dog Buns
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese For topping.

Method
 

Prepare the Chili
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Hot Dogs
  1. While the chili is simmering, cook the hot dogs in a skillet over medium heat until heated through and slightly browned.
Assemble the Chili Dogs
  1. Place each hot dog in a bun and top generously with the chili mixture.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.
