  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chicken broth, soy sauce, thyme, and oregano until smooth.
  5. Place seasoned chicken in the baking dish and pour the cream cheese mixture over it, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Serve hot.
