Making the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the yeast mixture along with melted butter and eggs until well combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
First Rise
- Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Rolling and Second Rise
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Roll tightly from one long edge and slice into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and allow to rise again for about 30 minutes.
Baking
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
