Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix 15.25 oz
  • 3 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 12 oz White Chocolate Melts
  • Sprinkles optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and water according to package directions. Pour into prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow cakes to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cooled, crumble into fine pieces.
  4. Mix crumbled cake with cream cheese frosting until fully combined. Roll into one-inch balls.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the fridge for at least one hour.
  6. Melt white chocolate melts in the microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each chilled cake ball into melted chocolate using lollipop sticks as handles. Decorate with sprinkles if desired and set upright until hardened.
