Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or any pasta of choice
Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour in the chicken broth and remaining butter, stirring to combine. Add the cooked pasta and parsley, tossing to coat evenly.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
