Ingredients

Salmon Fillets
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on or skinless
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
Grill the Salmon
  1. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite sides.
