Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix any flavor
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup icing store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup melting chocolate or candy melts
  • 12 mini ice cream cones

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs and oil. Bake in a greased pan for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a bowl and mix with icing until the mixture holds together but isn't sticky.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on parchment paper.
  4. Melt the chocolate coating as directed. Dip each ball halfway into melted chocolate and place atop an ice cream cone. Hold upright until set.
  5. Decorate with additional melted chocolate or sprinkles as desired.
