- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs and oil. Bake in a greased pan for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, crumble the cake into a bowl and mix with icing until the mixture holds together but isn't sticky.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate coating as directed. Dip each ball halfway into melted chocolate and place atop an ice cream cone. Hold upright until set.
- Decorate with additional melted chocolate or sprinkles as desired.
