Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings. In a large bowl, toss them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and half the lemon zest.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, remaining lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Arrange the seasoned wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Once baked, transfer the wings to a large bowl and drizzle the honey-lemon sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot with extra sauce if desired.
