Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound flank steak sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1 cup bell peppers sliced (mixed colors)
  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
  3. Mince the garlic and ginger.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and sesame oil until smooth.
Cook the Beef
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef strips and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger to the wok.
  2. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly.
  2. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
