Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 medium bell peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Wash the vegetables, dice the peppers, chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté chopped onion for about 2 minutes until softened; then add bell peppers and garlic. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Push veggies aside and add ground turkey to the skillet. Break apart as it cooks until no longer pink (about 7 minutes).
  5. Season with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  6. Serve hot over rice or in lettuce wraps.
