  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Baking the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the egg yolk mixture alternately with the whole milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool, then poke holes all over the top with a fork.
  8. In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
  9. Pour the milk mixture over the cooled cake, allowing it to soak in.
  10. Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form, then spread it over the soaked cake.
