Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, and ketchup. Mix using your hands until just combined.
  3. Season generously with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
